As hard as it is to perceive the change of seasons in our special part of the country, trust me on this…summer is coming!!!  And what better way to celebrate it’s arrival than with our traditional 4th of July Parade and BBQ right here in Hidden Meadows?!  This patriotic community event honoring our country will kick off at 10:30 a.m., in the lower parking lot of Boulder Oaks Golf Club.

The BBQ will start immediately after a good ole’ down-home parade around the parking lot. The Hidden Meadows Community Foundation will be furnishing the hot dogs and buns.  We have always relied on the generous donations from many in the community for cookies, watermelon slices and bottled water.  If you can contribute, please contact Sue Sciacca at susan.sciacca@hotmail.com or give her a call at (760) 297-1299.

Wanted for the parade:  Kids, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, siblings, friends and yes, even pets.  Get our your best 4th of July bling, dress up, go solo, or put a gang together and arrive with wagons, skateboards, golf carts, strollers, bicycles, tricycles, skates, or wheel chairs.  No need to sign up before hand to be in the parade.  Just be creative, show up and have fun.
